Opening Day

Schedule for Opening Day 
Map of Parade Route
You will need a large pick-up truck or a
trailer with sides
Be at the Rec center prepared to decorate your
trailer or truck at 9:00 a.m.
Parade starts at 10:00 a.m.
Players should be in uniform, ready to help,
at 9:00 a.m.
Players should bring water or drinks, it is
usually hot by 10:00 a.m.
What you will need:
Poster board and markers (in team colors)
Streamers (and tape) in team colors
Balloons (and string) in team colors
Something for the players to show during the
parade:
Flags, pennants, noise makers, bubbles, etc
Nothing should be thrown from moving vehicles
Nobody should be standing in pick-up trucks or
low-sided trailers
There should be at least one adult with the
kids in the truck or trailer
After the parade we return to the field for
Opening Ceremonies
Trolly service from field to rec. center
begins at 9:00 a.m.
Trolly will be in parade for rides back to the
field.
